This week, we welcome Limmud speaker, Dan Ronis on the topic No Forbidden Fruit — No Angry God. "The stories of the Hebrew Bible, the women and men who led the way of faith, are more magnificent than is told in our writings. That is what I believe after composing two channeled books, 'Women of the Hebrew Bible: Their Stories' and 'No Forbidden Fruit – No Angry God' which present those people and the events in a different light. I will be pleased to share some of these stories with you".

About the Speaker: Dan Ronis is a retired scientist (PhD – Plant Breeder) living in Saskatoon who attends Agudas Israel synagogue. About three years ago, Dan contacted a medium who had previously done personal readings for him. Dan wanted to see if she could get answers to questions that he had about the stories fo the Hebrew Bible. That collaboration gave him more believable and acceptable answers to those questions, and led to two published books. In his personal life, Dan participates in the local nature club outings, takes photos of wildlife, builds furniture, makes beautiful frames for his photographs, bikes, swims, and volunteers at the University fruit breeding program. At Agudas Israel Synagogue, Dan is the librarian, holds an annual book sale to raise money for Sisterhood, is the chair of their Membership Committee, and a Board Member.
